Our Yoga Therapy classes incorporate traditional yoga principles with specific biomedical knowledge taught by experienced physiotherapists.
Our PhysioYo Yoga Therapy is a holistic approach to exercise to enhance flexibility, strength and restore the mind-body connection. At our North Sydney Physiotherapy clinic we are offering small group classes and private yoga therapy sessions with fully qualified physiotherapists and Yoga Therapists.
Yoga Therapy Classes (6 weeks)*
Yoga & Meditation Course (6 weeks)
We offer small group classes in a safe environment incorporating traditional yoga principles combined with specific biomedical knowledge from an experienced physiotherapist/yoga therapist. Classes are designed for injury rehabilitation and prevention. Therapists make specific adjustments to your postures providing one on one feedback and assistance.
Each 6 week course starts with basic skills in poses, progressing to focus on key body areas such as abdominal control, spinal flexibility, pelvic muscular balance and shoulder strength to name a few. A special class for foot pain is coming soon, let us know of your interest. Standing posture and mindful walking is included. Our courses are constantly being redesigned and developed.
Yoga courses are tailored to the students in each group, with a maximum of 8 in a class guaranteeing you a professional level of attention. Pre-assessment by the physio ensures that injuries and needs are identified and managed therapeutically through the delivery of the 6 week course.
Bookings are essential for each class. Booking for the full course is preferable, but casual attendance is possible for some classes if spaces are available.
